BOOM TRUCK CRANE OPERATOR/TRUCK DRIVER
OVERVIEW
Roberts Roofing, a leading Northeast Ohio commercial roofing company, is seeking a skilled, reliable Boom Truck Crane Operator/Truck Driver. We work throughout Ohio and beyond. All interviews will be held confidential.BASIC JOB OVERVIEW:
Applicant will be joining a friendly, family-oriented commercial roofing company that has been in operation for 40 years.
The bulk of responsibilities will be the loading/unloading of roofing equipment and materials on individual jobsites via crane. Secondary duties include the transportation and operation of various vehicles, and pieces of heavy equipment necessary in the day-to-day operation of a commercial roofing company.
It requires a bright eager confident individual who has a multi-talented skill set that can work well with others. Assisting in problem-solving on specialty jobs, i.e. scaffolding, temporary roads, temporary ramps etc. Applicant may be required to help out on certain roof-related projects- therefore the ability to climb ladders and deal with heights is required.
The job requires an individual who is bright, hard-working, and mechanically inclined. Applicant should be an individual who enjoys doing different tasks every day in the mechanical and commercial construction field.
SKILLS:
- Clean class A CDL driver’s license required.
- Prior experience operating a Boom truck, Manual shift Tandem axle heavy Diesel trucks, dump body, and stake body vehicles with air drop axle.
- Drug Free.
